The team here at Maycreek Landscaping would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Northwest Auto Center in Bellevue. Unable to go over 35mph, our dumptruck had been down for about 3 weeks. We tried to troubleshoot it on our own unsucessfully. Finally we agreed to take it to the Pro's at Northwest Auto. We had speculated on the cost amongst ourselves with guesstimates ranging from $1,000-$2,000. They changed the oil, fixed the radio and had it back in perfect runn ing order for $300 and change. They were professional and prompt. We did have to wait through a weekend to bring the truck in as they were fully booked on the thursday we origionally stopped in to leave the truck so call ahead. Im pretty sure they dont make it a habit of working on larger type dump trucks but werte very accomodating none the less. we would highly reccomend their service to anyone. Very affordable, timely service and quality work. Thank you again to NW Auto.

There was no false sense of urgency created for services I did not need; I was being pressured into 3300.00 worth of services from Evergreen Ford - in the end it turns out I only need struts and to fix an oil leak that's 2000.00 difference. I found NW Auto Service via and internet search and the reviews on Yelp were good. The company lived up to them and tested my car on the day I brought it in with no appointment at no charge (They do this for first time customers.), and gave me a discount on the first service. These folks have been exceptional while I've been looking for a new car. They've conducted 3 pre-purchase inspections for me on a moment's notice (best to schedule an early am appt as they are usually quite busy). They've taken the time to explain what each vehicle needed and helped me to make an informed decision when considering buying a pre-owned car. The shop is clean and well managed, the waiting room provides coffee and / or tea and USB connectivity while waiting, or they will drive you to work, home as needed, and the staff are friendly and professional. The guys at NW Auto are topnotch. As the only place I've ever taken my 72 F100, they have worked diligently to keep the ole girl scampering about. And it says a lot that they have brought to my attention parts that they installed in the past that are failing and then fixed/replaced them without cost to me. Why does this say a lot? Because, quite frankly, a place with less integrity probably would have charged me again and with my memory being in about as good of shape as my truck, I would have paid it.

You can always count on Alex to track down a difficult problem — from a curious trouble light to a disturbing sound to a 'wrong feeling' on a standard manoeuvre — fix it expediently and reasonably, and charge you minimally. Such a refreshing change from chain shops that check this, analyze that, replace these, try those, and end up draining your account over days without really fixing the issue. Just bring it to Alex first, because you'll eventually have to anyway.

The service was great! I called on a Thursday and requested that I get my car in on the following Tuesday for an oil change and check-up. I took my car in on Tuesday, they did everything and I had my car back that afternoon. They were quick and friendly, and they were honest about what my car needed - which happened to be just an oil change. They sent me with the results of the report which was easy to read (unlike other mechanics I've been to) and I was on my way. Affordable, kind and speedy.

Owner was very friendly and we had a good conversation while waiting. The other day when I tried to start my truck after pulling into a gas station, it wouldn't start. Since what it was doing seemed in context with the work NW Auto had recently performed on it, I called and spoke with Bob. In no time Alex showed up and, not only got it started but diagnosed it as a bad cell in the battery (having nothing to do with the work they had performed). He suggested I get a new battery and stop by and they would put it in for me. While I felt bad for assuming, it was reassuring to know that that level of customer service is alive and well today and present at NW Auto. Thanks guys!

My van (((Captain Ron))) is member of my family. Yesterday morning the ole Captain let go of his right side driveline. I called the Toe truck and gave the address to NW Auto service. (I wasn’t able to connect, and left a message with NW Auto)
The Captain and I were confident we did the right thing, without actual confirmations.
I tried calling again and Bob answered.
“Yes, bring Captain Ron in, we have a full crew today. (Snow and ice day)

Really happy with how friendly and fair they treated us.....!!!! (They gave Brody (Woof) and me a lift up the street.
Bob called with quote, I asked if that was to replace both “Dive Axels” and he said yes.
So I said yes...!!!
David (mechanic) asked me if I wanted to see the broken shaft, “WOW” that thing was toast, poor Captain Ron held on as long as he could for us.....!!!!!!

Rather than ask me to come get my car so they could go home, Alex called me to let me know that he found a few other issues and offered to stay and take care of them for me. The check engine light had been turning on and off on my vehicle over the last several years, and it was diagnosed as a catalytic converter code by several other mechanics. I was told to not be concerned, as a new catalytic converter was expensive and I had no trouble passing emissions testing. The car seemed to be running well, however over the last last few years I noticed that it just didn't have the power/acceleration that it used to and fuel efficiency was extremely low. NW Auto Center was able to diagnose the actual issue (a knock sensor) and repaired the problem timely and at the quoted price. My check engine light has not turned back on, the acceleration has vastly improved and fuel efficiency is noticeably better. I highly recommend their services!

An honest mechanic might sound like an oxymoron to some people. At least, that was my own skepticism after countless experience with other auto-shops that always breaches customer trust (adding on unnecessary services, billing unholy amounts, hidden fees undisclosed, repair not always being spot on - it goes on and on). I never thought I would find an auto-shop that has the trinity: 1) honest, 2) affordable, and 3) great customer service - but Bob and team proved me wrong and really went above.

Northwest Auto-Center has declined/refused my business a couple times. Not because they couldn't help or they didn't appreciate me as a customer. In fact, it was the exact opposite. They turned me down because they advised it would be more beneficial to get certain services elsewhere considering time and cost. They could've very easily just taken me in and charge me the fee. This already speak volume about its integrity.

The latest service I needed was to repair my engine. Bob originally advised that I take the car to the dealership instead in case they will cover it out of warranty - even though they can also fix it. The dealership quoted an absurd $4,000 and 1 month for needed service. Called Bob back and he offered to repair for approx $2,000 and a couple days. I'm going to refrain from commenting about the dealership because I'd say some very mean things. Thanks to Northwest Auto, car is now running like brand new and was able to save a whole 50%.

I also had to tow my car around a few times between my home, Northwest Auto, and my dealership. This can be a headache coordinating but when I told Bob about it, he offered to keep my car for over a week until my appointment! Even when he is tight on space in the garage from other customers, he didn't want me as a customer to face the hassle. I'm just so happy there are honest businesses out there and that I've finally found this rare unicorn of an auto-shop.

I had a 930am appointment for an oil change. The front desk was super helpful. They took my car and the oil I had provided and told me that it would take about an hr to get out of there. I just waited around in their front office as they took my car in. It took a little longer than expected, maybe like 10-15 min extra, but that's no biggie. I heard a strange noise in my breaks. Alex and his team looked at them and said the pads were uneven so making a noise but I was perfectly safe and had plenty of pad left unless I just could not handle the noise. They could have easily sold me knew pads but instead, they were honest. After having a bad experience with one of Bellevue's top rated favorites for automotive repair, I was relying on the dealer of my car (Jeep) until it became inconvenient to wait for a couple of weeks to get into the dealer's service center.
